যাদের রক্তে রাঙ্গানো একুশ ওরা যে অম্লান,
ধন্য আমার মাতৃভাষা ধন্য তাদের প্রান ।
রফিক, সালাম, বরকত, আরও হাজার বীর সন্তান, করলো ভাষার মান রক্ষা বিলিয়ে আপন প্রান। যাদের রক্তে রাঙানো একুশে ওরা যে অম্লান, ধন্য আমার মাতৃভাষা ধন্য তাঁদের প্রান।
মনে পড়ে ৫২ এর কথা, মনে পড়ে একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারির কথা, যখন হারিয়েছি আমার ভাইদের, দিয়েছি রক্ত ভাষার জন্য।
রক্তে কেনা বাংলা আমার লক্ষ শহীদের দান,
তবুও কেনো বন্ধু তোমার বিদেশের প্রতি টান ?
সকাল বেলা পান্তা খেয়ে বৈশাখের ওই দিনে ,
বিকেলে আবার উঠছো মেতে ইংলিশ হিন্দি গানে।
